Erin Hirsh is one of the most artistically diverse costume designers and stylists in the entertainment industry. Having worked with a multitude of celebrities, her resume spans from Ellen De Generes and Rihanna to critically acclaimed directors David Lynch and Spike Jonze. She is best known for executing conceptual designs with impeccable craftsmanship.

Currently Erin is the head costume designer behind NBC’s Emmy Award winning television show The Voice, for the past 23 seasons.

Before stepping into her current career, Erin worked as a professional dancer and visual merchandiser for Gucci and YSL, under the creative direction of Tom Ford. Drawing from her knowledge gained while executing Tom Ford’s aesthetic concepts and inspiration from her time as a performer, Erin uncovered her unwavering passion for styling and costume design. Erin’s decades long portfolio includes designing multiple world tours, award show costumes, music videos, red carpet and editorial styling for Rhianna, Janelle Monae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Gnarls Barkley, Blake Shelton, Chris Pratt, Nicky Hilton, Eve, Erykah Badu, Cassie, Christina Milian, Elle Fanning, Chloe Sevigny, Minka Kelley, and many more.


Some of Erin’s most revered designs to date are the iconic varsity jackets she designed for Pastelle while working alongside Kanye, Virgil Abloh, Willo Perron and Matthew Williams, and her collaboration in conjunction with NASA engineers to create Kanye’s infamous Grammy’s light-up jacket and glasses.

Critically acclaimed by the fashion community as well as the technology industry, the jacket was hailed as ground breaking, and currently resides as part of the permanent collection of the Grammy Museum.

In addition to being an innovative costume designer Erin is often brought in as creative consultant to help artists realize their vision from staging concepts to video treatments and album packaging.

Erin doesn’t confine herself to any particular area of art or fashion. She prides herself on being able to take on any creative challenge, whether it’s designing for pop stars or hired to consult on projects in the realm of visual art, theater, or dance.
